For learned societies, professional bodies and university faculties
One platform for your journal, your conference and your members.
Fellova runs your submissions and peer review, your abstracts and delegate invoices, and your members' dues and certificates. One login for everyone you serve, your own website in your colours, priced in naira, and we run the servers.
Three modules. Take one, two or all three.
Journal
Submission, peer review that chases reviewers for you, and articles Google Scholar can read.
Conference
Abstracts, decisions, delegate invoices, acceptance letters and proceedings.
Membership
Dues by the year, arrears included, recorded waivers, member numbers and certificates.
Your journal, your conference and your membership are one community doing three things.
Most societies run them on three systems, or two systems and a spreadsheet, and the same people end up with three accounts. On Fellova they share one.
- One login. A member who submits to your journal and presents at your conference does it all with one account.
- From conference to journal. When an abstract is accepted and paid, its author can submit the full paper to your journal, linked to the abstract, with the review fee waived.
- One look. Your logo and colours on your website and in every email, from every module.
- Start with one. Switch modules on when you need them. Each has its own setup checklist that shows what is left to configure before you go live.
Built for how your members and authors pay.
- Your account
- Online payments go through Paystack into your own account. We never hold your money.
- Bank transfer
- Prefer bank transfer? Members, authors and delegates upload the receipt, and your staff approve or reject it in every module.
- The full amount
- Paystack's charge is added on top, so the society receives the fee it set.
- Nothing lost
- If someone pays and closes the browser, the payment still reaches their record. It is checked with Paystack four separate ways, and it is never counted twice.
What Fellova does not do.
We would rather you hear it here than after you sign.
- We do not register DOIs. We record and publish the DOI you assign.
- We cannot get your journal into Scopus, PubMed or DOAJ. Those are editorial decisions. We make sure your metadata is published in the formats indexers read.
- The Conference module is not an event app: no session scheduler, badges or check-in.
- One journal subscription covers one journal title.
No server, no plugins, no upgrade weekends.
Each society gets its own deployment and its own website on its own domain, in one of six themes, set up by your own administrators. We host it, update it and support it.
Uptime, backups and support response times are commitments in our Service Level Agreement.
Priced in naira, by module.
A journal from ₦10,000 a month. Every feature is on every tier: the tiers differ in how much you put through, not in what you can do.
See it with your society's own questions.
A live demonstration of the modules you care about. If you ask about something that is not there, we will say so.
