Privacy notice
Last updated 17 October 2026
This notice explains what Fellova collects through this website, why, how long we keep it, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Fellova is built and run by Stata Insight Technologies, a software company in Nigeria. Stata Insight Technologies is responsible for the personal data described here.
Contacting us about your data
Write to [email protected]. We use that address for every question about this notice and for every request described under "Your rights" below.
What we collect when you book a demo
The demo form asks for:
- your name and your role;
- your organisation;
- the modules you are interested in, and what you use today;
- your email address and your phone or WhatsApp number;
- anything you would like us to prepare, if you choose to tell us.
With your request we also record when you sent it, which page of this site you sent it from, and, if you arrived through one of our own links (such as the "Powered by Fellova" link on a society's website), which kind of link it was.
Please do not put sensitive details, such as health or financial information, in the "Anything we should prepare" box. We do not need them to arrange a demo.
Why we use it
We use your details only to arrange your demo and to follow it up. We do not add you to a mailing list, send you newsletters, or use your details for marketing.
We use them because you asked us for a demo: it is a step you requested before any agreement with us. Where that does not apply, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry. We do not rely on your consent, so the form does not ask you to tick anything.
Where it is kept
When you send the form, your request is saved on this website's server and then passed, over an encrypted connection, to Stata Insight's own system, where we work on it. Once our system confirms it has your request, the copy on the website's server is deleted.
We receive a short email telling us that a new request has arrived. That email does not contain your details. When we reply to you by email, that correspondence is kept in our mailbox, separately from your request.
How long we keep it
- If you do not become a client, your details are removed 12 months after our last contact with you.
- A request that our spam checks mark as suspicious is removed after 30 days.
- If you become a client, your details move into our client records, and the request itself is removed.
- Emails we exchange with you are kept in our mailbox and are not covered by this schedule.
Visits to this website
This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and uses no analytics service, advertising tag or third-party script.
Our server keeps a visit log. Each line holds only the date and hour, the page, whether it loaded, a broad device type (phone, tablet or desktop), and the broad kind of place that linked you here (a search engine, this site, another site, or none). It does not hold your IP address or your browser's details. We keep it for 400 days.
To limit abuse of the demo form, our server uses your IP address briefly, in memory, to cap how often requests can be sent. Our server's error log can also contain IP addresses; we keep it for 14 days.
Who else handles your data
- Cloudflare carries all traffic between your browser and this website. It sees your IP address and what you send, including the demo form, while that traffic passes through it. Cloudflare runs a global network, so this traffic may pass through servers outside Nigeria. If a page fails to load, your browser may also send Cloudflare a short technical error report.
- The companies that host our servers and our email store the data described above on our behalf.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for their own use.
Your rights
You can ask us:
- for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- to correct it;
- to delete it;
- to stop using it.
Write to [email protected], from the email address you used in the form if you can, so we can confirm the request is yours. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
